I am currently a food engineering student, studying the 4th semester, and in one of the subjects that I see they asked us as an evaluation to go on a trip to Hacienda Santa Teresa, in the state of Aragua, Venezuela. This hacienda is one of the best known in Venezuela, since its tourist attraction, its history and the sports part (they have a rugby team called "project alcatraz rugby club"), attracts the attention of many tourists. We went for educational purposes since this hacienda is characterized by the manufacture of mainly rum and other alcoholic beverages. They also make a super good coffee that they gave us to try and they explained to us how the process of planting, harvesting, selecting and processing this coffee is. coffee. Although we focused on the rum manufacturing part, where they took us to the distillation area and the machinery. It was a very productive experience, I really liked knowing all the processes that are carried out there and the hard work that the employees have to manufacture these excellent quality products. I hope to be able to do my special degree work on this farm. I found it very interesting.💗 💗
