Family
Family is one of the most important things, if not the most important thing in our lives. It is a notion that describes the most common organization within a society, consisting of a group of people united by kinship.
Over time, family types have changed, reflecting the constant changes that have occurred, and will continue to occur, in society.
Family dynamics have also changed over time, and family roles are no longer static as they used to be, on the contrary, they can be interchangeable, which implies a permanent search for balance between work and family life.
Some years ago, a large number of family members gathered in the city of Caracas to celebrate, if I remember correctly, the birthday of one of the youngest members, and I took advantage of the occasion to take some pictures of that distant meeting.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
La familia es una de las cosas más importantes, si no la más importante, de nuestras vidas. Es una noción que describe la organización mas común dentro de una sociedad, constituida por un grupo de personas unidas a partir de un parentesco.
Con el transcurso del tiempo, los tipos de familia han cambiado, reflejando de esta manera los constantes cambios que se han dado, y se seguirán dando, en la sociedad.
También la dinámica familiar ha cambiado con el paso del tiempo, y los roles familiares ya no son estáticos como antes, por el contrario, pueden ser intercambiables, lo que supone una búsqueda permanente del equilibrio entre el trabajo y la vida familiar.
Hace algunos años, una gran cantidad de familiares nos reunimos en la ciudad de Caracas para celebrar, si mal no recuerdo, el cumpleaños de uno de los miembros más jóvenes, ocasión que aproveché para tomar algunas fotos de aquel lejano encuentro.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
