Hey there, my fellow foodies! If you haven't visited the food hall inside SM J mall, you're missing out! This newly renovated mall has the fanciest food hall i've ever been to. Each stalls are decorated depending on their themed cuisine.
Filipino cuisine
Common Filipino dishes that can be found in this food hall includes crispy pata, sinigang, fried chicken, lumpiang shanghai, and of course the main attraction, lechon or roasted pig in House of Lechon. I wanted to try the lechon but unfortunately, the waiting line was too long which made me decide to find a different food choice instead.
Chinese cuisine
The second most popular cuisine in the Philippines is Chinese. Red Bowl offers customized ramen bowls with a choices of chicken, beef, and pork. They also have skewers and other side dishes available. My friend and I ended up ordering in this restaurant because aside from House of Lechon, this is the only other restaurant that accepts e wallet and credit cards as payment. During this time, we were quite short in cash. Hehe.
Thai cuisine
Another famous cuisine here is Thai. Most of their menu are spicy so we didn't consider this as our food options. Though they have Mango sticky rice for dessert! But then again, they only accept cash as mode of payment, which we're short of.
There were other food choices that i wasn't able to take a photo such as burgers & fries stall, and a Korean stall which hasn't opened yet.
This souffle pancake stall is actually quite famous in Manila, Philippines, that eventually had a branch here in our City. I hope to try this next time!
Although there are still vacant and under renovation stalls by the time of this visit, it's pretty understandable since this is a newly opened mall.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
