Greetings gamers and video game content lovers, this is ILAZ speaking!
Today I bring you a post to join the new theme of Ready Player Hive (@playerhive), in which, we have to talk about our favorite card games of all time, if you want more information about it, I leave here the post that explains the theme.
For me it was quite simple this time to choose my favorite games of this type because being frank I haven't played many in this regard, so the only ones I have played, are my favorites without a doubt and there is not much discussion about it.
So, without further ado, let's get started!

El día de hoy les traigo un post para unirme a la nueva temática del Ready Player Hive (@playerhive), en la cuál, tenemos que hablar sobre nuestros juegos de cartas favoritos de toda la vida, si quieren más información al respecto, les dejo por acá el post que explica la temática.
Para mí fue bastante sencillo esta vez elegir mis juegos favoritos de este tipo porque siendo franco no he jugado muchos al respecto, por lo que los únicos que he jugado, son mis favoritos sin lugar a dudas y no hay mucha discusión al respecto.

1.- Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories
I think that every person who ever had a Playstation 1, had to have known this totally EPIC card game of one of the best anime that I have seen in my childhood as it is Yu-Gi-Oh.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories is a game that I would say is underrated if it weren't for the fact that everyone who talks about this game says wonderful things about it, because for the time it was a game that was WAY ahead of its time, and surely if you are 25 years old or older and reading this, you will agree with me.
This game had it all, great graphics for the time, too cool gameplay mechanics for combat, of course there was the hype for everyone because many of us who played that game watched the anime, so it was a very easy way to understand how the game was played and so on, the story was very epic.
I remember how difficult it was to face “Atem”, who is nothing more than the pharaoh we know as “Yami Yugi”, who, according to the series, is trapped in the millennium puzzle that Yugi Moto has; that character in the series is epic at playing cards and really does him too much honor in the game because he is an extremely difficult opponent to beat because of his deck level.
In order to beat him, I had to spend many, many hours of play looking for more and more cards to be annoying enough to not allow him to play freely, because otherwise, the rest was history, he usually beat me with Exodia if I allowed him to play for too long, he was too annoying.
1.- Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories
Creo que toda persona que alguna vez tuvo un Playstation 1, tuvo que haber conocido este juego totalmente ÉPICO de cartas de uno de los mejores animé que he visto en mi infancia como lo es Yu-Gi-Oh.
El Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories es un juego que diría que está infravalorado de no ser porque realmente toda persona que habla de este juego lo hace diciendo cosas maravillosas, porque para la época fue un juego que estaba DEMASIADO avanzado a su época, y segúramente si tienes 25 años o más y lees esto, concordarás conmigo.
Este juego lo tenía todo, unos graficazos para la época, una mecánica de juego demasiado genial para los combates, por supuesto estaba el hype de cada uno porque muchos de nosotros que jugamos ese juego veíamos el animé, entonces era una forma muy fácil de entender el cómo se jugaba el juego y demás, la historia era muy épica.
Recuerdo lo difícil que era enfrentarse a "Atem", que no es más que el faraón que conocemos como "Yami Yugi", el cuál, según la serie, queda atrapado en el rompecabezas del milenio que tiene Yugi Moto; ese personaje en la serie es épico jugando a las cartas y realmente le hace demasiado honor en el juego porque es un contrincante extremadamente difícil de vencer por su nivel de mazo.
Para poder vencerlo, tuve que pasar muchísimas horas de juego buscando más y más cartas para poder ser lo suficiéntemente molesto para no permitirle jugar con libertad, porque si no, el resto era historia, generalmente me ganaba con Exodia si le permitía jugar por mucho tiempo, era demasiado molesto.

2.- Splinterlands
Of course if we talk about card games, it is impossible not to talk about one of the best games I could play in my life of this type as it is @splinterlands, the most popular game of this beautiful blockchain as it is Hive; I play in this Dapp since the time of the old blockchain, when it was known as “Steem Monsters”, so you will imagine the fact how I lived the different transitions of the game and the evolution.
Before playing @splinterlands, I had not played something that was even remotely similar, that was something that caught my attention a lot, because usually card games are too similar, but Splinterlands was something that you could not get anywhere for many reasons, the first is the fact of how you battle in this Dapp, because, it is not like in other games where you have to go making decisions in real time but you have to plan a strategy and let it take place the same against your opponent's, it is simply epic.
Also the reward system is amazing, the community that surrounds the game is awesome because I feel that part was also one of the ones that caught me too much in this blockchain world beyond the blog part, because Splinterlands has it all.
2.- Splinterlands
Por supuesto que si hablamos de juegos de cartas, es imposible no hablar sobre uno de los mejores juegos que he podido jugar en mi vida de este tipo como lo es @splinterlands, el juego más popular de esta hermosa blockchain como lo es Hive; yo juego en esta Dapp desde la época de la blockchain antigua, cuando era conocido como "Steem Monsters", así que se imaginarán el hecho de cómo viví las diferentes transiciones del juego y la evolución.
Antes de jugar en @splinterlands, no había jugado algo que se pareciera ni remotamente, eso fue algo que me llamó mucho la atención, porque generalmente los juegos de cartas se parecen demasiado, pero Splinterlands era algo que no se podía conseguir en ningún lugar por muchos motivos, el primero es el hecho de cómo se batalla en esta Dapp, ya que, no es como en otros juegos donde tienes que ir tomando decisiones en tiempo real sino que debes planear una estrategia y dejar que se lleve a cabo la misma contra la de tu rival, es simplemente épico.
También el sistema de recompensas es increíble, la comunidad que rodea el juego es impresionante porque siento que esa parte también fue una de las que me atrapó demasiado en este mundo de la blockchain más allá de la parte del blog, porque Splinterlands lo tiene todo.

3.- Legends Of Runeterra
This last game I can say that I have not played it enough to say that I have really enjoyed it to the fullest, I do not know it at all but it reminds me a lot of games like Hearthstone, because, although I never played the latter, I was a spectator of many friends who played this game too much.
The dynamics of this game also reminded me too much of another type of game that I saw many times in my science school at the Central University of Venezuela, such as Magic, because of the theme of having to use action points that could be the analogy to Magic's “mana” to be able to perform actions, to be able to summon monsters and so on.
Obviously the interesting thing about Legends Of Runeterra is that it is an extension of the Lore of League Of Legends, so beyond the fact of playing that game just for fun, it also extends the knowledge of a game that I have been playing for almost 14 years and makes me enjoy it much more.
3.- Legends Of Runeterra
Este último juego sí puedo decir que no lo he jugado lo suficiente como para decir que realmente lo he disfrutado a cabalidad, no lo conozco del todo pero sí me recuerda mucho a juegos como Hearthstone, porque, a pesar de que nunca jugué este último, sí fui espectador de muchos amigos que sí jugaban demasiado este juego.
La dinámica de este juego también me recordó demasiado a otro tipo de juego que muchas veces vi en mi facultad de Ciencias en la Universidad Central de Venezuela como lo es Magic, por el tema de tener que utilizar puntos de acción que podrían ser la analogía al "maná" de Magic para poder realizar acciones, para poder invocar monstruos y así sucesivamente.
Obviamente lo interesante de Legends Of Runeterra es que es una extensión del Lore de League Of Legends, entonces más allá del hecho de jugar ese juego por mera diversión, también me extiende el conocimiento de un juego que sí estoy jugando desde hace casi 14 años y me hace disfrutarlo mucho más.
