"Stray cat on a grey morning"/_{"Gato callejero en una mañana gris"}

As always, a lot of interesting things happen here which can be turned into photographs, as long as you are around when they happen. Sometimes it's people, like my friend Domingo walking down a village street with his mountain boots slung over his shoulder and a piece of cactus to plant in his house in the mountains... Afterwards, the dull grey morning is a perfect frame for a stray cat that looks at me with a face of having had a night of fights... Yes, there is always something nearby for a photograph...

Tal como siempre, suceden aquí un montón de cosas interesantes las cuales pueden convertirse en fotografías, siempre y cuando uno esté cerca cuando suceden. A veces son personas, como mi amigo Domingo yendo por una calle del pueblo con sus botas de montañas colgadas en el hombro y un trozo te cactus para sembrar en su casa en las montañas... Después, la mañana gris opaca es un marco perfecto para un gato callejero que me observa con cara de haber tenido una noche de peleas... Sí, siempre hay algo cerca para una fotografía...

I have a handful of dramas available just by looking at my face and watching carefully. A little away from the centre of the village, life becomes even harder and it is possible to appreciate the shortages by looking into the courtyard without walls or fences...

Tengo un puñado de dramas disponibles apenas al mirar mi rostro y observar con cuidado. Un poco alejado del centro del pueblo, la vida se hace aún más dura y es posible apreciar las carencias mirando hacia el patio sin paredes o cercas...

At other times I don't need do any search at all and therefore I can take pictures without much effort. The nearby neighbourhood, that handful of streets in which I used to run as a child, still has its complex and exquisite magic. There are little "worlds" happening on the fringes of each other, but through which it is always possible to move with a few steps. Walking here still has something of a choreographic feel to it, as if a play is repeated almost daily with subtle changes? Yes, these are streets which are used for "taking pictures"...

Otras veces no necesito hacer ninguna búsqueda y por ende puedo hacer fotografías sin mayor esfuerzo. El vecindario cercano, ese puñado de calles en las cuales corría de niño, sigue teniendo su magia compleja y exquisita. Hay pequeños "mundos" sucediendo unos al margen de otros, pero a través de los cuales siempre es posible avanzar con pocos pasos. Caminar aquí sigue teniendo algo de coreográfico, como si de una obra de teatro se repitiese casi a diario con sutiles cambios... Sí, son calles las cuales sirven para "hacer fotos"...

And I look at Paul in the corner and wonder about his nature. After looking at him for another long time I conclude that it's not something I really care about... Paul is there every day in the mornings, sometimes he reads a little book, sometimes he drinks some liquor or talks to someone who passes by on the street and stops... Paul's life is simple and passes slowly, like the lives of all of us used to pass before the problems became too many and too complex to solve...

Y miro a Paul en la esquina y me pregunto respecto a su naturaleza. Después de mirarlo otro buen rato concluyo que no es algo que me importe en realidad... Paul está a diario allí en las mañanas, a veces leee un pequeño libro, otras veces bebe algo de licor o conversa con alguien que pasa por la calle y se detiene... La vida de Paul es simple y pasa lentamente, como solían pasar las vidas de todos nosotros antes de que los problemas se volviesen demasiados y muy complejos de resolver...

"Lovers, friends, angels..."/_{"Amantes, amigos, ángeles..."}

I won't comment too much on this last photo with these two beautiful puppies in the street... Suffice it to say that: "I just need to look at this photo to love my streets a little more"...

No comentaré demasiado respecto a esta última foto con esos dos hermosos perritos en la calle... Me basta con decir que: "Me basta mirar esta foto para amar un poco más mis calles"...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
