"Squirrel Day"

Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I have here for you all tonight are some shot's of these squirrel's I took while I was at my new location shooting birds, Rob's Field. Their was an abundance of squirrel's and you know me I like to shoot anything that moves, haha. They are always fun to shoot and when you get them doing something other than just sitting their is pretty cool. I actually got one the other day it was rolling around in the dirt and I have never seen that before, then it came closer and looks like it yawned but the bad part is I got three shot's off and I don't think I got the image, blurry but we shall see I still have to get to those edits a year from now, lol. As for these, it was spur of the moment when I got them while walking around. The first shot, the cover shot has to be my favorite, to get him eating a little green leaf, with the cool color of cactus in the background, definitely worth the time to capture this moment. Honestly probably my favorite squirrel shot to date, better than the one I got eating an apple awhile back. That was just him sitting in the grass, this one has a dope backdrop and that's really what were looking for while shooting wildlife. It's not just about the animal, got to get that background to pop. As for the second shot below, this was such a cool moment rolling up on, he was stretched out and it appears was soaking up the morning Sun, do to how cold it was over the night time. What's crazy is I only got three shot's off, for I tried to get closer and it took off and thankfully one came out really good. I also do like the colorfulness of the backdrop, as well as the shape of the rock he is chilling on, I also think this could be a she but I just write what I write, haha.
Here is the next shot another cool shot, the positioning the backdrop and the rocks I for sure had to add this one to the group on this post.
As for the last post here is another shot of the cover shot but obviously it is a different image and it was me zooming all the way in at 400mm to get that close up of this guy getting in his morning nutrition. All in all, good times this day at Rob's Field and I must go back asap to see if I can get some more cool shot's. I do have more to show coming soon from this trip, wait til you see the Vermilion Flycatcher shot's I got. Such a beautiful red bird and another reason I went there to shoot, him and the Burrowing Owl.
