First stop on our safari: the group photo. Next: arm myself with everything I need to go out and photograph the models who attend, as many as possible. So I stand side by side with fellow photographers and we learn advice and problem-solving as they arise. We try photos with and without flash and taking advantage of everything around us as a potential setting to pose. My first sequence was with Anyalis, shown here, in the long corridors surrounding the Manzana Kempinsky Hotel in Havana. Since the sun was very strong and hot, (literally), I asked my model to pose briefly for me in the sunlight, and from there these photos came from. Beautiful Anyalis in a beautiful sunflower dress.
Primera escala en un safari nuestro: la foto grupal. Siguiente: armarme de todo lo necesario para salir a fotografiar a las modelos que asistan, la mayor cantidad posible. Así me pongo lado a lado con colegas fotógrafos y aprendemos de consejos y de resolución de problemas a medida que van surgiendo. Probamos fotos con y sin flash y aprovechando todo lo que nos rodea como potencial escenario para posar. Mi primera secuencia fue con Anyalis, aquí mostrada, en los largos pasillos que rodean al Hotel Manzana Kempinsky de La Habana. Como el sol estaba bien fuerte y ardiente, (literalmente), le pedi a mi modelo que posara brevemente a la luz del sol y de ahí salieron estas fotos. Anyalis hermosa en un hermoso vestido de girasoles.
