And I found you there, on the shore
of a sea of indecision,
plucking daisies without faith,
with dreams in the wind undone.
Broken wreck of lost illusions,
a rain of failures drained
from your withered pupils,
testimony of so many agonies.
Helpless captain of an aimless ship,
abandoned to the drift of doubts,
dismembering the last hopes
with dead and bare hands.
I offered you a beacon in the distance,
a light that illuminated your defeat,
a safe harbour in the bonanza
where to regain the faith that now floats.
