The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are prepared to strike 261 military targets in Russia if the West grants permission to use long-range missiles, according to a report by Der Spiegel.
Potential targets include large weapon depots and Russian military bases. The long-range Storm Shadow missiles (also known as Scalp), which can be launched from fighter jets, have a range of up to 250 kilometers. Recent data indicates that they could hit 261 military sites in Russia if launched from positions near the front line.
Experts believe that such strikes would severely complicate Russian military logistics, potentially having a significant impact on the course of the war. The use of long-range Western-made missiles could become a pivotal factor in Ukraine's strategy to weaken Russia’s military positions.
