Each step of the way and whatever progress I make I try to document it at the weekend. Yesterday Saturday was the end of 3rd week of March for us - 5 full weeks of existence for Happy Customer Supermarket. We increased the numbers and will keep on working hard to onboard newbies and make them spend HBD. Happy customer supermarket is our onboarding facility and here is how far we did this 3rd week.

A busy week with some milestones
It was a really busy week for me as I even had to travel out of the city to attend to some important matters. But I was still able to put in some hard work to finish the week strongly. As you can see below, the total spending of HBD at Happy Customer Supermarket has crossed 500. This week that just ended, the HBD spent totalled 89.
The numbers do not go up by chance. It is borne out of hard work and creativity. For example, I encourage repeat purchases by doing small give aways besides the instant discounts from distriator. Every Saturday, I give out 0.7 HBD to anyone that shops at the store. I even designed a small graphics and promote it through my Whatsapp status to create awareness. Besides incentives, I also still go out to speak to people about this SpendHBD project. On Thursday, I went to Abia State Polytechnic(Now Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic), a tertiary institution in my city. I was able to speak to a few students after their classes. Three of them were so happy to learn about SpendHBD and they agreed to come with me to Happy Customer Supermarket to learn more. I covered their transportation costs since they didnt plan for it.
Once we arrived, I did a presentation for them and explained what Hive and SpendHBD is all about and demonstrated with them how to download the wallets. I signed them up as you can see one othem below showing me his new wallet.

At the end of it all, I also gave them the free shopping voucher with 0.7 HBD in it. They all were happy yo shop with that amount as I sent it to their wallet. They went round and picked items of that amount and paid with HBD. After claiming discounts, they were so happy. You can see their pictures below as they showed off their free shopping cards.
They prepared to leave to meet up with their next class at school. But before they left, I took this picture with them. They promised to return next week to complete their profiles and start creating content. Before they left, I took this group photograph with them:

Visiting Uyo
Another highlight of my week was visiting Uyo for the very first time. Happily it was all about SpendHBD. The friends over there have been doing great and I made a welfare visit to check on how they are doing. It was a great a experience to meet @ijelady in her town of residence. It was refreshing to talk about SpendHBD, the challenges over there and how to move the project forward.
It was a pleasure too to visit one of the businesses that accept HBD - Judel Supermarket. I took some pictures inside the supermatket because I was so impressed to see such a business acceoting HBD. You can see below some of the pictures I took.
Looking ahead to a fresh week
We just entered the last week of March and a lot is in store for it. I am still making arrangements to hold a web3 class in Abia State Polytechnic. I hope that I can have a breakthrough their as I am still going through the official channels to have access to students especially in the marketing department. Happy Customer Supermarket will still be their onboarding platform.
I am also planning a meetup with people in my city. It would involve printing Hive Tshirts and other arrangements. We are hoping to host this event in a decent place. I will finish up arrangements on that and get everyone informed.
There are still other things in store. I hope that as time progresses, I can see what is possible for the week.
