    Today i would like to share most popular Indian dessert known as Carrot Halwa (Gajar Ka Halwa in Hindi) is especially during winters. Gajar halwa means Indian Carrot Pudding. It is rich in Taste and healthy as it contains carrot, Dryfruits, Khoya(condensed milk), Instead of Sugar, i used Dates for sweetness. Gajjar Halwa is a hearty Indian home made sweet dessert but I am on a sugar diet. I am not consuming sugar, so I want to share this recipe with some twist, instead of Sugar, i Added Dates for Sweetness and More Taste

    It's traditional recipe follow-up from my adult, it' time taking Recipe as it's slow cooking the grated carrots, utill it's absorb the Milk, it gives delicious Flavour. In India, during Winters gajjar Halwa is available almost in every house even in sweet shops.
    What is the best thing about this recipe is that you can make it and keep it in the fridge for a week. Whenever you have a craving for sweets, can have Delicious Homemade sweet.

    ā€¢ 1 Kg of Carrot.
    ā€¢ 2 Tbsp of Desi Ghee.
    ā€¢ 1/2 Kg Of Dates.(can Add Sugar)
    ā€¢ 1 litre of Milk.
    ā€¢ Dryfruits(optional).
    ā€¢ 2 tbsp of cardamom Powder.
    ā€¢ 250 Grams of Khoya(Condensed Milk)

    firstly, Wash the Carrot peel the skin of carrot.

    With the help of Grater, Grate the All carrot Finely.

    Now Grated carrots is ready to Cooked.

    In a large kadai, heat up ghee.

    Add the grated carrot and Saute Well, until it changes colour slightly.

    now pour Wholesome milk and give a good stir.

    continue to boil,keep Stirring too at low Flame until the carrots are cooked well and milk reduces.

    once the milk thickens completely, Add the Khoya and dates into it.

    To make the Fine Texture of Khoya and dates, grind it into grinder.

    Continue to simmer on a low flame, stirring often, add Cardamom Powder for amazing aroma and flavor.

    cook until the halwa thickens and ghee releases from sides. When the halwa has reduced to a pudding-like consistency, add nuts and dry fruits of your choice

    Simmer till the halwa mixture becomes dry. The milk should evaporate completely.

    Now Your Gajjar ka Halwa is ready to serve.
