I know I said I'll post the bralette I'm a bit well this it's more than a week later and trust Mr it's not a proud moment at all.
I actually finished making the bralette since last week but I was unable to write a post about it or even make the post which was something I wanted to do.
It is the festive season and to make it even more special it is the season of giving. As a result let's say I have kind of sort of lost my time or I've been losing it foe the past one month.
I have gotten a few urgent jobs and a few regular orders that sometimes become urgent because I didn't work on them earlier so it has been a lot.
It has been fun because of all the new patterns I get to work on [ I can't wait to show you all] but it has really eaten into my time.
Might be 9am I pick up a hook and time just flies and before I know it its dark again [this is popularly described as being zoned out or in the zone]
This is what has been going on trust me I planned making this post for several days but by the time I realized I was either too tired to even think of what to write on the doc or it was already past the time and I couldn't pick up my device anymore.
I'll get right into this order. I made this lexi set few weeks ago [my first time making it] and that one had cowries om it. This client reached out and when she did she said it was a beach party and uf I can send her inspo so she can easily choose from there. I was like okay. Among the style inspirations I sent I added the lexi set and good thing it caught her eye.
We finished up the process and I started with the order. Fun fact: she wanted it in the exact same color as the other one. So you know I definitely pulled up my carton colored guns and prepared for battle. The last piece of the puzzle was the bra top and it was so fun to makeee.
And the fun part were the shell stitch I used for the edges and making the bra cup itself. When I finished up. She said she would like to come for a fitting and when she dud it was just fire 🔥 carton color on a dark skin is a combo everyone needs to study. It looked so pretty on her skin and it was definitely syncing
She loved it and it was her first time shopping from me. I wrapped it up and this is my review
Things I used to make this:
4.0 mm hook
Stitch markers
A 40g yarn
Measurement tape
Ps: these pictures belong to me and we’re taken with my mobile device.
