Last month, the [ducklings have shatched] (https://ecency.com/hive-106444/@joycebuzz/the-ducklings-are-out?referral=joycebuzz) and they had become the apple in our eyes. It was our first time having those adorable ducklings in my mother's house and my kids adored them so much.

He ducklings dis notonly bring joy to my little ones but they also brought entertainment and sadness.
From 11 adorable ducklings, they are now down to 9 and one had an injury in his back. It was such a sad news I have learned from my mother early one morning as she checked on them while feeding.
It turned out that the ducklings just can't keep themselves safe; they keep roaming around at night in fact, I hear them quack near our home and on the vacant lot adjacent to it even at 2 in the morning.
There were many rats around that could hurt then, perhaps ot was the reason why one of them now had an injury in its back. The neighbor also informed us that she saw a snake skin in the same area in her lot and it made ven more dangerous for the ducklings to roam around.
The mother duck was tied, no, tethered on a shady place a few days after hatch but it doesn't keep the ducklings explore the surroundings, all they need is unlimited food and great adventures I guess.
These feathered friends are worrying us too mich that we all decided to keep them on a chicken house for the night. It's now two in the morning, quiet outside and hoping that the ducklings are safe where they were kept or else, nowhere is safe already.
