The city of Caslgary has 2 city halls, a new one and an old one. The old one is built out of sandstone like most of the buildings were in the area during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The building stands right next to the new city hall, which has served since the 80s as the city grew in size. The interiors are multi-level in new city hall, I tried to take an elevator up a few levels and was taken all the way to the top. I decided to check it out for moment but soon noticed the signs about it being a restricted area. As I was only here for a short time, I thought I would save the exploring for next time, as there are many open levels to check out.
