Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and follows His teachings is His disciple. The disciples are not only the 12 apostles. We who obey his commandments are also his disciples. The members of the church of God who truly obeys the doctrines of Jesus Christ are his disciples. Those who have come to accept the doctrines of Jesus Christ and to believe in God through him are the disciples of Jesus Christ.
It is not only the 12 apostles who are the disciples. The disciples those who obey the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Those who follow all the doctrines of Jesus Christ are his disciples. It is obedience to the commandments of God that makes a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Everyone who believes in the teachings of Christ and obey the doctrines is a disciple.
As we keep teaching people all over the world about Jesus Christ and his salvation, we are making disciples. These men and women who accept the teachings of Jesus Christ and follow the doctrines of Jesus Christ have become his disciples.
