Blessed day to all the friends of @jewelry. Needless to say, I have the pleasure to share with you the tutorial to make some delicate earrings made with rag. In these days that I've been using this material, I've noticed how versatile it is and although at first I didn't like it much, gentlemen, now I'm liking it a lot and that's good, because I can start making other types of projects. It's always good to try new methods, techniques and materials. We can find real treasures.

En estos días que he estado usando este material, he notado lo versátil que es y aunque en un principio no me gustaba mucho, señores, ahora me está gustando bastante y eso es bueno, porque puedo empezar a realizar otro tipo de proyectos. Siempre es bueno probar nuevos métodos, técnicas y materiales. Podemos encontrar verdaderos tesoros.

These earrings, believe me, if it is already something trite the phrase: “very easy to make”, here it fits perfect, in the most literal sense, it is easy to do. We just have to know how to make a little pucker in the fabric, and who does not know how to do this, anyone who can thread a needle, can do it. Let's go to the details.

Estos aretes, créanme, si ya es algo trillado la frase: “muy fácil de hacer”, aquí encaja perfectas, en el sentido más literal, es fácil de hacer. Solo tenemos que saber hacer un pequeño fruncido en la tela, y quién no sabe hacer esto?, cualquiera que pueda enhebrar una aguja, puede hacerlo. Vamos a los detalles.

We cut two 40 centimeter pieces of rag, we can make it longer or shorter, it depends on the size we want for the flower of the earrings. The larger the amount of rag, the larger the flower and vice versa. We thread a needle with sewing thread and once we have made the knot at the end of the thread, we proceed to make the gathering, which is nothing more than introducing and removing the needle with the simple seam, so that when we reach the end of the rag we can pull the thread and we get a nice gathering. We give a safety stitch so that the work does not unravel.

Cortamos dos trozos de trapillo de 40 centímetros, podemos hacerlo más largo o más corto, depende del tamaño que deseamos para la flor de los aretes. A mayor cantidad de trapillo, más grande será la flor y viceversa. Enhebramos una aguja con hilo de coser y una vez que hemos hecho el nudo al final de la hebra, procedemos a realizar el fruncido que no es más que introducir y sacar la aguja con la costura simple, de manera que al llegar al final del trapillo podamos tirar del hilo y quede un bonito fruncido. Damos una puntada de seguridad para que no se deshaga el trabajo.

We place a 4 mm Murano glass in the center of the flower, using the same thread and needle and then we place ten imitation pearls around the glass, sewing very tightly. We make a second flower trying to keep the symmetry. We reserve and go with the second part of the earrings.

Colocamos un cristal de murano de 4 mm en el centro de la flor, usando el mismo hilo y aguja y luego colocamos diez perlas de imitación alrededor del cristal, cosiendo muy ajustado. Realizamos una segunda flor procurando mantener la simetría. Reservamos y vamos con la segunda parte de los aretes.

We make a magic ring and on it, six low stitches. In the next row we make an increase in each stitch, so that at the end of the row we should have 12 single crochet stitches. In the last row, we knit a single crochet and a double crochet and at the end of the row we will have 18 single crochets. We knit a chain of 21 stitches and attach to the circle leaving 3 single crochets in the middle of the chain. We knit a slip stitch all along the chain, this will give a little more structure to the earrings.

Realizamos un anillo mágico y sobre éste, seis puntos bajos. En la siguiente vuelta realizamos un aumento en cada punto, de manera que al final de la vuelta debemos tener 12 puntos bajos. En la última vuelta, realizamos un punto bajo y un aumento y al completar la vuelta tendremos 18 puntos bajos. Tejemos una cadena de 21 puntos y fijamos al círculo dejando 3 puntos bajos en el medio de la cadena. Tejemos un punto deslizado a todo lo largo de la cadena, esto dará un poco más de estructura a los aretes.

We place the hooks directly on the 11th stitch of the chain. It was not necessary to place a ring between the hook and the chain as I would usually do, because without the ring it is firmer. This is a particularly light earring. It weighs practically nothing and when it does, it tends to take any position when we wear them and that is precisely what I want to avoid.

Colocamos los anzuelos directamente sobre el punto 11 de la cadena. No fue necesario colocar una argolla entre el anzuelo y la cadena como generalmente haría, porque sin la argolla queda más firme. Este es un arete especialmente ligero. No pesa prácticamente nada y cuando es así, tiende a tomar cualquier posición cuando los usamos y eso precisamente es lo que quiero evitar.
