Gratitude is said to be a feeling of appreciation or an emotional response to a act of maybe kindness.
It(gratitude)is an act of showing appreciation and thankfulness and not just a feeling but a practice that should be cultivated,making gratitude a daily routine will make us to experience the many benefits it has to offer.
Its impact on our health is one of its numerous benefits.Being thankful of both big and little things,those things we hardly take note of,nature and the likes...make us see thee world in a more positive light and can help to reduce stress,anxiety,and even help do away with depression.
Furthermore, its impact on our relationships,can not be overlooked,when we express gratitude towards others we begin to build stronger,meaningful and better connections with them,which could lead to deeper relationships,support and connection.
Theres saying here in Yoruba that says "he who is thankful for a yesterday's or a past deed or show of kindness would definitely receive another".
In as much as the show of kindness does not expect your gratitude,it is more important too....even if its just an ordinary " thank you".
We live in world where help,show of love,show of kindness is really nowhere to be found,anyone ahl stills sees it fit to do any of the abovr,should very well be appreciated.
I have experienced the power of gratitude,and im fact can attest to its good transformative effects. When i was in school,I had the opportunity to work with a dealer of Keke Napep,thanks to an older friend of mine who referred me.This new opportunity not only brought in additional income but also allowed me to learn some certain skills as the place also own engineers wwho help fix,repair Napeps.My friend told me then that he knows I am someone who would appreciate and make good use of the opportunity,that's because I have some very good trackrecored with him.
I am grateful for the referral and his trust in me.I recognize that the opportunity is a result of the positive,good relationships I have built.
Gratitude is a powerful emotion,tool,feeling,act that has the ability to transform our lives in ways we cant think of,we can experience a various ranges of benefits from just being grateful....from improved health, to stronger,betterrelationships,to very good connections that are rare....and we become transformed.In whatever way we practice gratitude through,just make sure to,and if you dont,look around you,start by appreciating those little things,the power of gratitude has the ability to positively impact every area of our lives.
