Aquí se realiza una estrecha relación médico-paciente por todo el tiempo que pasan juntos, la confianza que depositan en ti y el amor con el puedes llegar a recibir de ellos a pesar de la enfermedad que estén atravesando. Ya sean neonatos, lactantes, preescolares, escolares, adolescentes; merecen el mismo respeto, cariño y atención, donde se verán diferentes única y exclusivamente las estrategias y modalidades de examen físico a realizar o practicar (según mi percepción como interno de pregrado).
En esta clínica, se puede reconocer un ambiente multidisciplinario, ya que se involucran los pediatras, médicos integrales, residentes, nutricionistas, psicólogos, trabajadores de bienestar social, enfermeros y enfermeras, participación de la familia y demás que hacen vida en el ambiente hospitalario. Donde la comunicación debe ser asertiva pero muy rigurosa, donde se preserve el impacto emocional del menor edad.
Mi estadía por pediatría sin duda fue una experiencia muy inusual, dicha rotación no es mi favorita; pero causó un dilema en mí, ya que sin duda alguna disfruté cada momento y las enseñanzas que todos los residentes y adjuntos me brindaron, cada sugerencia, indicación, a veces regaños y bromas, risas y tristezas de ver a nuestros pacientes pequeños atravesar por una determinada difícil situación, hicieron una aglomeración de emociones que sería inexplicable de contar. Pero realmente el trato fue un 100/10, para ser mi primera rotación hospitalaria dejó la vara muy alta para las venideras. Aunque pienso vivirme todas al máximo y aprender lo más que se pueda para lograr ser un excelente médico.
Aprendí hidratar, expandir, asistí a mi primera vez a quirófano de la mano de cirugía pediátrica (Aunque me haya colado primero a una de Neurocirugía xD) dosis pediátricas de medicamentos y sus efectos adversos. Suturé una sola vez de la mano de un neurocirujano, pero debo practicar más y perfeccionar esas habilidades. Pero, en resumidas cuentas; tú que estás leyendo esto, atrévete a dar más de ti, a conocer de lo que puedas considerar no compaginar con tu personalidad, a variar tus ideas y abrirte a cualquier reto No dejes de llevar a tu pequeño al médico, cuídalo bien, trátalo bien y ámalo cada día más, ellos son un mundo y hasta un universo en potencia que pueden disfrutar mucho más de lo que crees.
Y si crees, que pediatría es un área delicada, ¡Pues sí, estás en lo cierto! Pero hay médicos y existimos cuasi médicos que trataremos con mucho amor a tu bebé <3.

Paediatrics, however, is a branch of medicine that specializes in the health and care of children from birth to adolescence proper. During this period, pediatricians focus on the overall well-being of children, including treating diseases, monitoring physical growth, and mental and psychological development. However, during the study or control of each of these patients, they will be classified into different age groups according to their characteristics, age and development according to these characteristics. The first or most important thing to provide good care to these patients is to have commitment. Many times some medical students in training, residents and in some cases, the pediatricians themselves get to make it difficult to care for children and adolescents, since they must therefore be accompanied by their legal representative, and require attention and treatment for these too (in some cases it can become complicated depending on the personality that they have during the anamnesis).Of course! Depending on the stage your child is at, your doctor will adjust your relationship. For example, with newborns and infants, communication is primarily through parents and child review.
