My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Un osito de Peluche de Taiwan of the group Los Auténticos Decadentes. I think that the Auténticos Decadentes was one of the first national rock bands that I heard in my life. It was thanks to a concert that the municipality of Moron de Buenos Aires had organized, in which bands like Los Autenticos Decadentes performed. I remember that there were three blocks full of people because of the concert, since it was free for everyone. I also remember from my childhood that my grandfather used to play the guitar and performed one of his most famous songs, “La guitarra”, in which one of the most famous phrases of Argentine rock sounds: (Porque yo no quiero trabajar, no quiero ir a estudiar, no me quiero casar, quiero tocar la guitarra todo el día y que la gente se enamore de mi voz” (Because I don't want to work, I don't want to go to school, I don't want to get married, I want to play the guitar all day long and make people fall in love with my voice).
