I'm the son of my father, and so definitely I have one or two things that I inherit from him as regards habit and character, my dad is someone that's very kind, I mean he shows love to everyone around him, It's not even about hyping at all, but the truth, people from his place of work, family and people from our hometown do testify of this, even his boss in his former place of work do testify to this aswell, to the point that if you don't know my dad too well, you'll think he's overdoing things.
He sees everybody around him as part of him and people that needs his help, he can even go to the extent of sharing the last money on him with his fellow man. I take after him as regards this, I also saw that I just find it easy to give, help people around me and build a good relationship with people, that's why it's good to have good parent, with that you'll inherit good things from them, and if it's vice versa, one will definitely take after them aswell.
My dad is so generous to the extent that he gave out his first car to his younger brother in order to empower him so as to be able to feed his family, when things were hard for him during that period. I can't still forget that act of kindness till date, giving out your first car to someone else, even without having any hope of getting another one anytime soon. That height of love is extreme, whenever I see my dad I see a man who don't want his neighbors lack by basic needs.
Despite all this things, the same person he gave his first car to later repay him with evil, that's a story for another day though.
As regards my mum, I learnt how to be hardworking, my mum is a business woman, she loves business alot, have known her to be one right from onset, I grew up knowing her as a business woman. She's someone that don't like being idle, I learnt this never relenting habit form her, she don't care the number of times she fall or failed, she will still be very focused to attain that which she had promised herself to achieve, the goal she sets must be achieved, a very positive and optimistic mind.
This same spirit is part of what I inherited from her, whenever I said I want something I'll see that I achieve it else, I might not have rest of mind, not until I get it done.
She's also the friendly and jovial type, she easily relate with people and build good relationships with them. Growing up I also see this as one of the abilities I inherited form her.
I hope my unborn children too take after me as regards this and it keep going on and on like that.
