Greetings vegan friends. It's my first time posting here and I'm so excited to share with you all what I have for today.
I made a very special local delicacy called cocoyam (Taro) is food plant which is among the root and tube cultivated and consumed in Nigeria
I think of what to prepare for my family for lunch and remember l have cocoyam at home packed some and wash off the sand because l will cook with the peel to have the local taste and look
Ingredients
15 pieces of Cocoyam
2 cooking spoon of Palm oil
1/2 tea spoon of salt
Procedure
Packed cocoyam in bowl to wash
After packed inside cooking pot
Placed on arranged fire wood to cook
Pushing in fire wood to boil for about 45 minutes
Check if cooked
Carry pot down
Peel off the cocoyam peels
Pour in palm oil in a plate
Placed on fire to hot put in salt
Ready to eat with palm oil and salt
