Antes de viajar a mi gira por Maturín realicé 4 charlas en el colegio donde doy clases todos los miércoles. Esta vez a cuarto año. Recuerden que yo doy clases todos los miércoles a quinto año.
En el colegio son tres menciones, ya que es una escuela técnica y los chicos eligen que especialidad estudiar. En este caso hay: Electrónica, Construcción Civil y Máquinas.

Before traveling to my tour of Maturin I did 4 talks at the school where I teach every Wednesday. This time to the fourth grade. Remember that I teach every Wednesday to fifth year.
In the school there are three mentions, since it is a technical school and the kids choose which specialty to study. In this case there are: Electronics, Civil Construction and Machinery.
El salón de Electrónica está dividido en dos, en su horario; por lo tanto tuve que dar 2 charlas para esa mención.
Son un grupo con mucha energía, aunque los vi un poco cansados. Mi charla dura una hora y aunque es bien dinámica, sabemos que esta generación de la inmediatez y del Tik Tok, se le dificulta la concentración por algunos minutos XD.
The Electronics room is divided in two, in their schedule; therefore I had to give 2 talks for that mention.
They are a very energetic group, although I saw them a little tired. My talk lasts an hour and although it is very dynamic, we know that this generation of immediacy and Tik Tok, it is difficult to concentrate for a few minutes XD.
Sin embargo vi que les llamó mucho la atención Hive. El Crear contenido de sus gustos y pasiones fue algo que les entusiasmó mucho. Algunos me preguntaron sobre mostrar su música en 3speak. Es que cuando vieron que pueden publicar videos les encantó.
However, I saw that Hive really caught their attention. Creating content about their tastes and passions was something they were very excited about. Some of them asked me about showcasing their music on 3speak. When they saw that they can post videos they loved it.
Pocas veces he visto un grupo tan emocionado al final de la charla. Todas las preguntas eran sobre cómo registrarse. Les digo que pueden hacerlo directamente en hive.io, sin embargo les recomiendo que me escriban para guiarlos en su presentación y crear la cuenta con @bluemist
I have rarely seen such an excited group at the end of the talk. All the questions were about how to register. I tell them that they can do it directly on hive.io, however I recommend them to write me to guide them in their presentation and create the account with @bluemist.
Para este momento que escribo, ya más de una semana después; solo uno me escribió. Incluso dos chicas que me ayudaron a tomar las fotos, me iban a escribir para registrarse y para que les pasara unas fotos que se tomaron ellas. Esto no ocurrió, no me escribieron.
Este tema es algo que quiero hablar en otro post, porque desde hace años he visto que la gente se emociona y quiere comenzar, pero después se desaparecen. Ahora lo veo más porque doy demasiadas charlas y a veces me desespera que todos quieren ingresar y nadie escribe después. Haré un post solamente sobre esto, porque quiero leer comentarios, sobretodo de otros que hayan dado este tipo de charlas sobre Hive.
As of this writing, more than a week later, only one wrote to me. Even two girls who helped me take the photos were going to write me to register and to ask me to pass them some photos they had taken. This did not happen, they did not write to me.
This topic is something I want to talk about in another post, because for years now I have seen people get excited and want to get started, but then they disappear. Now I see it more because I give too many talks and sometimes I despair that everyone wants to join and no one writes afterwards. I will make a post only about this, because I want to read comments, especially from others who have given this kind of talks about Hive.
A pesar de esto que les cuento, tengo varias estrategias pensadas para unos colegios clave, incluyendo donde doy clases. Como sea voy a crear una comunidad en los colegios, de creadores de contenido en Hive.
Despite this, I have several strategies in mind for a few key schools, including where I teach. However, I am going to create a community of content creators in Hive in the schools.
