Running
Last week I finished the first peakweek with a total of 77 Km. Yesterday's run was a 31 km fast run. Today with tired legs I decided to go for a recovery pace. My goal for this week is to finish somewhere between 75 and 85 km - so better get started right away :)
My focus was on keeping my heartbeat below 140 BPM so it does not cause too much energy while giving the benefits of increasing blood flow and thus speeding up recovery.
I did wake up last night with some pains in the groin area - which means that yesterday's run was indeed intense. The recovery run today provided a great opportunity to scan on issues during the run. I was very happy to experience no difficulties on my run in that regards. Nevertheless the pain last night will demand some attention as I did neglect stretching a bit last couple of months.
Again I was blessed with perfect weather so this was an amazing filling for my lunch break!
