    The Ruleset

    image.png

    • Rulesets - Four's a Crowd & Broken Arrows
    • Mana Cap - 29
    • Active Elements - image.png image.png image.png

    Here's my starting lineup

    Summoner: Kelya Frendul

    • With the ruleset and element pick that was available to me kind of forced me to play melee water
    • Melee because the mana cap was a bit to low to craft a great magic team
    • And water because Life is possible my worst element of them all
    • So in my case I went with a Kelya Frendul as he was my only level 4 summoner in water and also I actually really like his +1 speed and +1 armor combo
    1st Position: The Kraken

    • The Kraken was my main tanks for this battle
    • Kraken is possible my favorite monster I rent from others as I do not own any myself
    • Main reason I like The Kraken here a lot is his Taunt ability
    • Taunt - Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position
    2nd Position: Uraeus

    • As The Kraken costed almost half of my total mana I needed to go cheap
    • For that I had Uraeus who I really like just because how many stats you get for only 3 mana
    • Sneak - Targets the enemy unit in the last position
    3rd Position: Pelacor Bandit

    • Next one was also a cheap Sneak monster called Pelacor Bandit
    • Even tho Pelacor Bandit did not have any armor like Uraeus did Pelacor Bandit had the Flying ability which can turn the battle totally on to its head
    • Sneak - Targets the enemy unit in the last position
    • Flying - +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake
    4th Position: Deeplurker

    • For last but not least is a bit bigger boy than the last two were
    • Deeplurker was acting as a backline tanker and also huge damage dealer for my team
    • Opportunity - Targets the enemy unit with the least health

    Starting board

    image.png

    • Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because I had better tank and more total damage on my team + most of my damage was faster than my enemies
    • But my predictions could still be off by a mile so lets start the battle and have a look

    image.png

    Here's how the battle went

    1st Round

    image.png

    • After first round I had already taken down my enemies backline Uraeus
    • The Kraken lost only 3 armor and 2 hp which meant that I was sitting in a very good place
    • But anything could still happen so lets keep watching
    2nd Round

    image.png

    • In the 2nd Round my Deeplurker decided to change targets and together with The Kraken they took down my enemies only tank
    • At this point the battle was far over and if I managed to hit all of my attacks the battle should be over with the next round, lets see
    3rd Round

    image.png

    • The battle was indeed to over yet as my Kraken managed to miss his attack leaving my enemy with 3 hp Pelacor Bandit
    • Now I just needed to wait for the start of the next round and then face my victory as I was not going to miss again
    4th Round

    image.png

    • It took me 1 attack to kill my enemies last standing monster
    • After his Pelacor Bandit had fallen I took the victory

    Summary

    • This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
    • This battle is a great example how useful a Taunt monsters can be as the battle could have had a totally different ending if his Sneak and Opportunity monsters were able to attack my backline
    • So if you still have 0 Taunt monsters in your lineup make sure to buy or rent some
