Today I'm delighted to share the creation of a beautiful pipe cleaner headband for the weekly Splinterlands art contest.
Para el concurso de arte Splinterlands semana 339 me inspiré en la Arpía Celestial, ellas viven en altas montañas donde el azul de sus alas se pierden en los colores del cielo, son bellas y libres, si algún cazador sube en busca de hacer alguna maldad contra ellas no regresarán ya que viven en grupos para defenderse.
For the Splinterlands week 339 art contest I was inspired by the Celestial Harpy, they live in high mountains where the blue of their wings are lost in the colors of the sky, they are beautiful and free, if any hunter goes up looking to do some evil against them they will not return since they live in groups to defend themselves.

Realicé una bella diadema inspirada en los colores de la Arpía Celestial, me enfoqué en las plumas que lleva en su cabeza, utilicé limpiapipas azules y blancos, más detalles dorados, el resultado es encantador y colorido, a continuación les muestro los materiales y el paso a paso.
I made a beautiful headband inspired by the colors of the Celestial Harpy. I focused on the feathers on her head. I used blue and white pipe cleaners, plus gold details. The result is charming and colorful. Below I show you the materials and the step-by-step instructions.

Paso a paso / Step by step
El primer paso se trata de enrollar ocho limpiapipas color azul rey en un palillo, vamos a cubrir todo el cintillo utilizando silicón.
The first step is to wrap eight royal blue pipe cleaners around a toothpick. We'll cover the entire headband using silicone.

Ahora voy a tomar siete limpiapipas color blanco y vamos a realizar las plumas blancas, tomaremos una medida de 7 cm y enrollamos el limpiapipas, para darle más volúmen vamos a colocar dos limpiapipas al rededor, con los cuatro limpiapipas restantes vamos a realizar cuatro plumas más pequeñas y finas que la principal.
Now I'm going to take seven white pipe cleaners and we're going to make the white feathers. We'll take a 7 cm measurement and roll the pipe cleaner. To give it more volume, we're going to place two pipe cleaners around it. With the remaining four pipe cleaners, we're going to make four smaller, thinner feathers than the main one.

Voy a ir pegando las plumas blancas, la más grande en el centro y el resto hacia los lados, ahora voy a realizar las plumas azul cielo, vamos a realizar cinco plumas, dos de 4 cm, dos de 5 cm y una de 6 cm, de la misma forma que realizamos la anterior, solo basta con doblar el limpiapipas a la mitad e ir dando vueltas hasta alcanzar el tamaño correcto.
I'm going to glue the white feathers, the largest one in the center and the rest to the sides, now I'm going to make the sky blue feathers, we're going to make five feathers, two of 4 cm, two of 5 cm and one of 6 cm, in the same way as we did the previous one, just fold the pipe cleaner in half and turn it until you reach the correct size.

Ahora pegamos las plumas comenzando con la de 4 cm, 5 cm y la de 6 cm en el centro. En este paso puedes utilizar silicón caliente para mejor fijación.
Now we glue the feathers, starting with the 4 cm, 5 cm, and 6 cm feathers in the center. You can use hot glue for better adhesion at this step.

El siguiente paso se trata de realizar tres plumas pequeñas en limpiapipas azul rey, dos de 3 cm y una de 4 cm, al rededor vamos a colocar limpiapipas dorado, pegamos en el centro. También vamos a tomar un limpiapipas y lo doblamos a la mitad que quede alargado, vamos a realizar tres más y pegamos distribuidos en la diadema.
The next step is to make three small feathers from royal blue pipe cleaners, two measuring 3 cm and one measuring 4 cm. We'll place gold pipe cleaners around them and glue them in the center. We'll also take a pipe cleaner and fold it in half so it's longer. We'll make three more and glue them evenly around the headband.

Realicé dos plumas de 6 cm en azul cielo y las ubicamos en los lados, y de esta forma terminé esta bella diadema inspirada en la Arpía Celestial, la verdad me encantó los colores que le llevan la hacen ver llamativa, al final les muestro una foto como luce puesta.
I made two 6cm feathers in sky blue and placed them on the sides, and in this way I finished this beautiful headband inspired by the Celestial Harpy. I really loved the colors that make it look striking. At the end I'll show you a photo of how it looks when worn.
