Hallo Everyone. Here is my entry for #monomad challenge that hosted and curated by @monochromes
Today I am going to share you about three wheels vehicle, name Becak that I captured yesterday on my morning walk to traditional market. Becak could be a motorized or non-motorized pedicab and often find in the part of Sumatra. It is different from pedicabs in Java and other islands in Indonesia because the driver sits beside the pedicab rather than behind as is common.
Here the use of Becak or pedicabs, either pedaled by humans or driven by motorbikes, is widely used to transport goods in traditional markets. The seller use it to transport goods that previously carried by car then move into the pedicabs after that infiltrate the market that is impossible to mobilize with the car. This activity is only for the short range average 50 or 100 metres before entering the traditional market. It also one of the jobs that people mostly do in my place.
