Following the will of the people is not the name of gentleness
Friendship does not mean that you give people what they want and want.
The name of following people's wishes and desires is not gentleness
Qal Al-Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen - Rahma Allah Taala -
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"Some people think that the meaning of friendship is that it comes to people on what they want and buy, but not the same.
Some people think that you deal according to people's wishes and desires.
So this is the meaning of gentleness, This is not the correct meaning of gentleness according to the Shariah concept.
بل الرفعق إن تصير بالنناس
According to the commands of Allah and His Messenger, but the path is nearer to the path and the path is closer to the people.
Rather
The meaning of gentleness is to try to guide people according to the orders of Allah and His Messenger.
But in dealing with people, try to follow a way closer to truth and gentleness.
And do not be disrespectful to them in anything that is not the command of Allah and His Messenger.
