My Actifit Report Card: March 12 2025

Hello everyone 😻,

Happy hump 🐪 day, and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week.
I have had a great day and am about to share it including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.Definitely thank you for stopping by and let's get into it 💨.
So I started the day with the usual morning walk around the neighborhood. It was largely sunny 🌞 but chilly.
I didn't last long outside and after about 25 to 30 minutes, I was back indoors for the usual house chores including cooking.
Later, I settled down to some you tube, x and trending news from around the world.
My final walk was the sunset 🌄 walk this time around the local park and city centre.
So now let's look at what trended globally.
Starting off in Gaza, it is the 11th day of total blockade on aid from entering the strip. Food, medicine and fuel running low fast😿.
Meanwhile Arab foreign ministers had a meeting in Doha with US special envoy, Steve Witkoff talking about the way forward in gaza including the reconstruction plan that they arrived at earlier in their Cairo meeting.
In the other war, Putin vowed to take back all of Kursk as he visited the region for the first time. Kursk is a part of Russia that Ukraine occupied. Ukraine had taken about 1000 sq hectares but have since lost control of more than half of that🙀.
US teams will contact Russia directly to discuss the 30 day ceasefire that Ukraine agreed to in Saudi Arabia yesterday.
Zelensky saying the US should take strong action against Russia if they fail to accept that 30 day ceasefire deal. I don't think so😹.
Hague in Netherlands trending as former Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte arrived and remanded at the prison facility🙀. He will face charges of crimes against humanity for his ruthless drug related killings
Across the pond, US president Trump had a meeting with the Irish Pm at the white house.
Meanwhile he continued with the tariff hikes on EU countries steel and Aluminium😹. The EU swiftly responded with retaliatory tariffs. Trump causing lots of mayhem with these tariff issues. The trade wars are on, the ordinary citizens will be the ones to feel the pinch😿.
Finally, further down, Argentina trending as police engaged protesters in running battles with lots of tear gas fired. People are not happy with the strict austerity measures introduced by president Javier Millei🙀.
Today was pensioners complaining about the dwindling pension money they are being paid, making life quite tough😿.
