Welcome to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
I was watching wrestling, and The Rock had me on the edge with his promo. You know that moment when he asked if the crowd wanted to speak out against him? Thatās classic Rock, right?
But then he dropped this bomb about Phoenix, Arizona, and I was like, "Whoa, where's he going with this?"
He starts talking about how Phoenix is apparently the number one city for cocaine and meth use. That much I didnāt know but hey, itās The Rock so weāll see where he takes us.
However, instead of his usual āFINALLYā¦ā line stuff he goes off on a tangent about how the people there finally have something worth shooting into their veins. Itās like whoa did he just say that?
However you cannot deny that despite all these things capturing my attention just because it is too shocking not to pay attention. He has a way of making everything sound electrifying even if it may be a little bit controversial.
Then he changes the subject by explaining how wrestling has become exciting once more due to The Bloodline. I must confess that Iām a huge fan of Roman Reigns and the whole Bloodline angle. They really have invigorated the sport.
On the other hand, The Rock starts bad mouthing Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins saying they shouldnāt have dared challenging him. And you know what? Heās not wrong. I mean, who wouldnāt want to see The Rock in action, right?
But then, he throws out a challenge to Rhodes and Rollins for a tag team match at WrestleMania. Now that is a match I would pay to see!
The Rockās promo had me at the edge of my seat overall. It was daring, it was divisive but most importantly it was one hell of an entertaining piece.
Whatever people may say about The Rock, one thing is sure; he knows how to work a crowd.
WrestleMania should be fun.
