Saludos queridos cinéfilos, feliz de hablarles sobre una de las películas animadas que gratamente me sorprendió de las que vi finalizando el 2024 que fue 10 Lives, la cual relata una historia un tanto atípica para niños, porque trata el tema de la muerte y la reencarnación por lo que además de entretener aporta un mensaje extraordinario para el público infantil que tiene la oportunidad de verla, solo que en mi opinión requiere de la presencia de los padres, ya que es necesaria su orientación en caso de que surja una duda o inquietud como es de esperarse; esta película cuenta con la participación de Mo Gilligan (Becket), Simone Ashley (Rose) Sophie Okonedo (Grace), entre otros y ha sido un éxito en taquilla desde que se estrenó en el 2024.

La historia está centrada en el amor y apego que surge en Becket por su dueña Rose desde que ella lo adopta, desde pequeñito este gatico tiene la suerte de crecer en un hogar maravilloso con Rose a su lado, quien es una científica que estudia el comportamiento de las abejas y la interrelación con el medio ambiente, pero a medida que pasan los años como todo gato es celoso con su ama, aunque este más de lo normal a mi modo de ver, por lo que cuando llega a casa de Rose su exnovio y colega a pasar unos días para trabajar en un proyecto, Becket le hace la vida imposible demostrando que no está dispuesto a compartir el amor de su dueña, brindándonos unas escenas muy divertidas de cada cosa que le hace al pobre Larry, las cuales van incrementando de nivel hasta un punto que Beckett por ocasionar un desperfecto al carro de Larry muere aplastado por su vehículo perdiendo así su última vida, a este punto pensarías que ya se acabó la historia, pero no es así, ya que ahora nos presentaran las diferentes reencarnaciones que tendrá Bucket, una vez que llega al cielo rogando por una última oportunidad de volver a la Tierra.
