I am pleased to share my trumpet interpretation of “All I've Got To Do”, a Beatles song with R&B and soul influences composed by John Lennon. This piece of music is in E Major and the rhythm is in 4/4 time. I love it because it has a very original chord progression, especially in the verses. The use of unexpected chord substitutions is amazing, as well as suspensions in harmony. Its syncopated bass lines are quite attractive. This song was included in their second album, “With The Beatles” from 1963, and has a notable influence from artists such as Smokey Robinson and The Miracles. Another aspect that I like is the simplicity of the lyrics. This piece of music speaks of the beauty of love while young, one that is focused on small gestures and everyday details.

Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «All I've Got To Do», una canción de The Beatles con influencias del R&B y soul compuesta por John Lennon. Esta pieza musical se encuentra en E Mayor y el ritmo está en un compás de 4/4. Me encanta porque tiene una progresión de acordes muy original, especialmente en los versos. Es asombroso el uso de sustituciones de acordes de manera inesperada, al igual que suspensiones en la armonía. Son bastante atractivas sus líneas de bajo sincopadas. Esta canción fue incluida en su segundo álbum, "With The Beatles" de 1963, y tiene una notable influencia de artistas como Smokey Robinson and The Miracles. Otro aspecto que me gusta es la simplicidad de la letra. Esta pieza musical habla de la belleza del amor mientras se es joven, uno que está centrado en los pequeños gestos y en los detalles cotidianos.
Details are essential in music. The sum of details leads to success. One of the aspects of life that I love is traveling. On a trip there are different nuances, different events occur, some not so pleasant and others are a delight. A few years ago I traveled with some friends to Margarita Island, and on our journey we encountered many challenges, such as several demonstrations, a long line of users on the ferry and hours of waiting. Although we had those not so pleasant experiences, I am grateful that those vicissitudes occurred. Each detail meant a piece of a puzzle and, in the end, a picture of wonderful experiences. Music is also built from details, nuances, articulations, dynamics, phrasing, vibrato and tuning. In this performance one of the challenges was the high notes, since we are starting the week and I am coming from an active break. I hope you enjoy the details.

Los detalles son esenciales en la música. La suma de detalles conduce al éxito. Uno de los aspectos de la vida que me encanta son los viajes. En un viaje existen diferentes matices, ocurren diferentes acontecimientos, algunos no tan agradables y otros son un deleite. Hace unos años viajé con unos amigos a la isla de Margarita, y en nuestro trayecto nos encontramos con muchos retos, como por ejemplo varias manifestaciones, una cola larga de usuarios en el ferry y horas de espera. Aunque tuvimos esas experiencias no tan agradables, agradezco que hayan ocurrido esas vicisitudes. Cada detalle significó en una pieza de un rompecabezas y, al final, en un cuadro de vivencias maravillosas. La música también se construye de los detalles, los matices, las articulaciones, las dinámicas, el fraseo, el vibrato y la afinación. En esta interpretación uno de los retos eran las notas agudas, ya que estamos comenzando la semana y vengo de una pausa activa. Espero disfruten de los detalles.
