This topic is actually thought provoking. The place we go when we die as adult is greatly dependent on the works we do here on earth.
Children on the other hand are clueless of their surroundings and now nothing. They have no idea about good or bad, they don't hate, they don't keep enemies neither do they do anything that will be counted as sin.
Their hearts are pure, free from any troubles, they don't know how to gossip, they don't do any form of immorality neither do they fornicate.
That's why it is said in the book of Mathew 19:14 that the children should be allowed to come to Christ,they should not be restricted because same applies in heaven.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
No matter how much we try as adult, no matter who we are, the position we occupy, be it a president, a governor, a judge or even the military general, if we do not abide by the laws, if we do not do the will of God, we will bot enter into the kingdom of God.
A person can be a Christian who prays every single time, goes to church and sings the best praises, never misses a sermon and even pays his offering and tithes but if that person does bot abide by the law of God, if they do not keep the commandment of God, they will not enter heaven
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
This is more reason we need to keep ourselves clean from any sin, we need to be whole and spotless so that we will enter the kingdom of heaven.
The only way we can enter into the kingdom of God is by keeping the commandments layed out by God.
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
This is another reason we need not be dented with sin. We should be free and live life while keeping the commandments of God.
