Why Did I Upgrade the Cabalist Card to Level 3?

in voilk •  5 months ago

Because of the Amplify Ability, Cabalist was one of the cards I used very often in battles. The combination of Amplify Ability and Thorns Ability is very effective against Melee Attack Monsters. Monsters with the Thorns Ability deal 2 Melee damage back to the attacker when hit with a Melee attack. And Amplify Ability increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy units by 1. I use the Amplify Ability not only with the Thorns Ability, but also with the Magic Reflect Ability and Return Fire Ability. It's a ability that really comes in handy in certain battles.

Cabalist is already one of my most used cards, and I upgraded it to level 3 to take advantage of its Giant Killer Ability. Giant Killer Ability deals double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana. This means that the Cabalist can attack much more powerfully against monsters that cost 10 or more mana. Indeed, this is a ability that I need very much in some battles. There are only 12 cards with the Giant Killer Ability, Cabalist being one of them.

    Cabalist Stats

Cabalist is a Death Monster that can attack the target with magic attacks and has Amplify Ability at level 1, Giant Killer Ability at level 3, and Demoralize Ability at level 6. Cabalist is a Rare Monster Card in the Death Unit and belonging to the Riftwatchers edition. It costs 7 mana.

    • Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy units by 1.
    • Giant Killer Ability : Does double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana.
    • Demoralize Ability : Reduces the Melee attack of all enemy Units by 1.

The Cabalist Rare NFT Card is currently starting at $0.42 on the market. The Gold Foil Cabalist NFT Card is currently starting at $4 on the market. Actually, if I didn't have the level 2 Regular one in my deck, I might buy the Gold Foil one because the price seems pretty reasonable to me.

Cabalist was already one of my favorite cards because of its Amplify Ability, and I leveled it up to level 3 to gain the Giant Killer Ability. After I upgraded my Cabalist card to level 3, I had the chance to try it out in some battles and was really pleased with its performance, so I'm glad I upgraded this card. In my battle below I will talk about one of my experiences with my level 3 Cabalist card.

    • Lost Legendaries: Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles.
    • Fog of War: Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity abilities.

In this battle, I predicted that the opposing team would have a monster that attacks with melee attacks that cost 10 or more in the first position, and I believed that I could destroy it more easily with Cabalist, so I added Cabalist to my team. I also put Cursed Windeku with Thorns Ability in the first position.

To be honest, when I saw Quora Towershead on the opposing team, I thought I lost this battle, but I didn't expect it to be so easy to destroy her with a level 3 Cabalist. Indeed, in this battle, Cabalist did a great job, even though the opposing team had a Monster with Tank Heal Abilirt, Quora Towershead with Heal Ability was destroyed incredibly easily. Honestly, I could never have won this battle without the level 3 Cabalist on my team.

Additionally, I would really like to upgrade my Cabalist card to level 6 soon due to its Demoralize Ability.
