I ran through the chaos of explosions, gunfire and desperate screams echoing in all directions.
Alien ships were streaking through the skies, destroying everything in their path.
Suddenly, an incandescent bolt of lightning struck me.
An indescribable pain came over me as my atoms dematerialised one by one.
In those final moments, I realised with dread that this was no game, a superior race had come to finish us off.
"The aliens are invading us" was my last thought before I faded into nothingness, becoming one more of their countless victims.
