Fire soul — Voilk

Buenas noches. Últimamente me siento bastante inspirada en dibujar y hoy he plasmado una idea que tenia en mente desde hace días, hace mucho tiempo que no dibujaba velas y realmente he perdido la práctica, pero lo importante es que lo intente y creo que quedo bastante bien en combinación con esta paleta de colores entre fríos y cálidos, siento que es una combinación super interesante y que no recuerdo si la he usado antes pero realmente me gusto, espero que a ustedes tambien les guste.

Lately I feel quite inspired to draw and today I have captured an idea that I had in mind for days, it's been a long time since I drew candles and I have really lost the practice, but the important thing is that I tried it and I think it looked pretty good in combination with this palette of colors between cold and warm, I feel it is a super interesting combination and I do not remember if I have used it before but I really liked it, I hope you also like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice mi boceto y elegí los colores para trabajar, esta vez utilice mayormente tonalidades azules y lilas para la piel y tambien un tono naranja y rosa para las zonas que quería iluminar, pensaba dibujar las velas en el hombro asi que agregue la luz justo en el cuello, barbilla, nariz y hombro, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle mejor forma, para guiarme mejor, cambie el fondo al color que quería utilizar que en este caso era un azul muy oscuro, luego pinte el cabello con negro.

I made my sketch and chose the colors to work with, this time I used mostly blue and lilac tones for the skin and also an orange and pink tone for the areas I wanted to illuminate, I was thinking of drawing the candles on the shoulder so I added the light right on the neck, chin, nose and shoulder, in a new layer I added more colors to give it a better shape, to guide me better, I changed the background to the color I wanted to use which in this case was a very dark blue, then I painted the hair with black.

Agregue un naranja muy tenue en el fondo justo detrás de la silueta, después empecé a detallar la piel mezclando los colores con una opacidad media y un pincel duro, detalle un poco mas los ojos y luego los labios, tambien agregue un poco de iluminación en el cabello con pequeños reflejos de luz naranja, pinte la silueta de las velas y empecé a agregarle tonalidades blancas, grises, naranjas y moradas, después de un rato experimentando quede satisfecha con la forma que habían tomado las velas, pinte el fuego y luego empecé a agregar mas detalles como luces en el rostro y ojos, tambien realicé un ajuste de color y se me ocurrió añadir una sombra en el cuerpo con dos líneas oscuras simulando la sombra de una ventana reflejando sobre ella.

I added a very faint orange in the background just behind the silhouette, then I started to detail the skin mixing the colors with a medium opacity and a hard brush, I detailed a little more the eyes and then the lips, I also added some lighting in the hair with small orange light reflections, I painted the silhouette of the candles and started to add white tones, grays, oranges and purples, after a while experimenting I was satisfied with the shape the candles had taken, I painted the fire and then I started to add more details like lights in the face and eyes, I also made a color adjustment and it occurred to me to add a shadow on the body with two dark lines simulating the shadow of a window reflecting on her.
