Our very first Gala (wanderer) is in January. It happened last Friday morning when my friends decided to explore Cebu City as a reward because we finally finished our teaching demonstrations successfully, just what others said deserved namin toh 😆. ( We deserved a reward 😆)

We agreed that we should spend 500 pesos only but the big question is How Far Can 500 pesos take you 😆?.

We take a bus from the City of Naga to Minganilla and the fare is 12 pesos each since we get a discount because we are students. When we reached Gaisano Minganilla one of our friends waited for us at the jeepney station where we going to take a ride to Cebu City. So From Minganilla to Colon Cebu, the fare is 30 pesos. When we reach Cebu City our first stop is.

    #####Sto. Niño de Basilica Cebu

From the colon, we just walked through Sto. Niño de Basilica so that we can save fare after we reached the Sto. Niño de Basilica.

We immediately went on the pilgrimage to light some candles to thank God for his guidance so that we could surpass our teaching demonstration.

Moving forward we also visited the Magellan Cross but unfortunately, we couldn't take a good photo because there were many tourists on that day.

Since there is no dull moment when we are together so we decided to take a group photo outside the Magellan Cross.

Then we noticed that the white Christmas tree beside the Magellan Cross was still there so we decided to take a photo with the white Christmas tree.

    Second Stop

    Mang Inasal Restaurant

If you are on a budget trip don't forget to Visit the famous Mang Inasal in the Philippines, they offer unli rice and grilled chicken and also pork at an affordable price 🙂. Since we are on a budget trip we ordered 2 unli rice with grilled chicken for 179 pesos only with drinks and 2 regular grilled chicken with 1 piece of rice and drinks for 129 pesos only.

After a few minutes of waiting for our food, we do this game in which we pass the ring button to each other and whenever that ring button comes it will be the one to get the order 😆. So Rio and Cathy were the ones get the order.

While we eating an unli rice order I called the waiter to ask for rice rice then I shared it with my friends who ordered regular served. Thanks to the kuya waiter because she gives us more than so that we can share the rice 🙂💛.

    Third Stop

After we were done eating at the Mang Inasal we immediately went to the Carbon Market to buy something to bring home. We were amazed because everything was at the cheapest price.

Then we just sit down on the mall floor because our feet are so tired already if our feet talk it will say "I am tired Can I rest for a while".

    Fourth Stop

    Museo de Sugbo

After a few minutes of resting, I thought they were all tired and ready to go but here they are ready for another walk 😁. Now we are heading to the Museo de Sugbo and this is my third time visiting this museum with different groups of people.

When we reached the Museo the guard assisted us in sitting down after a few minutes the guards mandated that we now proceed to Museo de Sugbo. While entering the Museo de Sugbo there is a receptionist that will assist you with the do's and don'ts that will follow inside the Museo.

After exploring the Gallery we noticed that inside the museum they had a small area where they provide a printout of the ocean where you can colour it. It feels like I'm a child again.

I am also amazed at the creation of Martino Abellana, His paintings are realistic, The way eyes look at you and how he plays the acrylic and charcoal to make a beautiful creation.

Overall the 500 pesos challenge was worth the price because of the bond that we made, We didn't expect we thought that every moment to be dull but turn into a priceless journey, We were tired but had a fun and enjoyable day.

That's all for today, thank you for taking the time to read my blog, feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section. Thank you and May God bless you all 💛 Ciao ✨🦋💛
