Menopause is almost something most women are aware of its eventual occurrence as age draws closer and closer, but the nightmare attached to it sometimes is when it comes earlier than expected. Imagine having plans for something to start happening to you at a certain time, but it comes sooner than planned; how does one even explain that? It can be so frustrating.

Menopause is when a woman's body gets to the point of not getting pregnant any longer. Usually, women start to experience menopause in their early 50s. A premature menopause situation would be one that describes a woman getting into menopause at a more early age than usual, and in most cases, the cause is not even known. Anything that causes damage to the ovaries or stops the body from producing estrogen can cause menopause. Premature and early menopause has similar symptoms to the real and timely menopause in itself.
Family history of early age menopause, surgery that removes the ovaries or uterus, chemotherapy or radiation for cancer treatment, autoimmune diseases, cigarettes, and infections like mumps. Just as hinted earlier, most cases of premature menopause have no specific known cause.

Early menopause may start with irregular menstrual flow for a few years before the menstrual cycle begins, with spotting in between periods. Affected patients may also experience night sweats, hot flashes, a frequent urge to urinate, dry skin, eyes, or mouth, emotional changes, and frequent cases of insomnia.
Headaches, changes in sex drive, hair loss, weight gain or loss, breast tenderness, joint pains, headaches, and inability to concentrate properly are also strong factors.
Hormonal changes are contributing side effects to the existence of the menopause situation, and it can begin to affect both emotional, social, and mental well-being. Therefore, symptoms vary amongst affected people, and there is no one talk that fits all for the situation.
The fact that, the risk of pregnancy has been eliminated from the risk of menopause does not mean that, sexually transmitted infections are not possible (STIs) still remain a must watch out for.

While early menopause is still an issue, research is already ongoing on the possible ways of reversing menopause. Emerging research has shown there is a possibility of having menopause reversal, but it would most likely only be temporary.
Some people take the route of ovarian rejuvenation; others use natural remedies just to reverse menopause. Contrary to these beliefs, however, other researchers believe that a situation of early menopause cannot be reversed, as nothing can be done to make the ovaries function properly again, but an expert can help provide options that would help symptoms and side effects of menopause be bearable.
The causes of menopause are usually not a thing that can be controlled; it isn't even your fault in the first place. Smoking cigarettes is the only lifestyle that can be controlled. However, signs of irregular periods should be reported to a medical expert.
