Here we are. Seventeen weeks of pure football watching agony has come to an end. For now at least. Hopefully though of course, the agony is coming to an end soon because, rather unexpectedly, the Titans have found their way into the top draft pick in 2025! Of course the Titans stunk so it's not that surprising they have the top pick. I just find it mildly surprising because, unless I am forgetting, the Titans were never even in position to have the top pick until like literally yesterday. They were always in the top five realm but for awhile the Raiders, Giants, Patriots and probably a few other teams, seemed to be in position to grab the top spot. But out of nowhere the Titans swooped in and are at #1.

Yes, I know it's pretty pathetic to talk about the top pick as if it's some awesome prize but, the Titans have got to start somewhere at this point.

Sure, most say the QB class is pretty weak but, they could definitely be wrong. Years ago I never saw Patrick Mahomes becoming the Hall of Famer that he is today so, anything is possible. Also, even if the Titans don't like the top QB prospects, the top pick still gives them a ton of options in terms of trading down and gathering a ton of picks or something like that. OR the Titans could just pick the very best player period and go that route because, the Titans are in desperate need of talent, period. Travis Hunter perhaps? Can always try to grab a veteran QB too.

The bottom line is, this top pick gives the Titans OPTIONS. They also have a respectable amount of cap space. GM Ran Carthon has been a bit of mixed bag so far, but now he has an opportunity to seriously show what he's got. This is big for him and he has to do his part as a Titan.

I kind of like the idea of trading down as long as there is a TON of picks as compensation. Just overload the team with as many rookies as possible. Even if it's several years of picks or something.

I still would not at all hate Shedeur Sanders in Nashville. I also like Sam Darnold for the most part.

This is about to be a NUTTY offseason. I have no idea what to expect! After such an abysmal season, it's kind of nice to be excited about something. As I get older, I am just enjoying the ride.

SERIOUSLY hoping for the best. I will be looking out for ANY shred of information. I understand it's unlikely the Titans will be contenders any time soon, but it really can't get much worse than 2024/25. I want the Titans to contend again soooo bad.

    #TITANUP!!!!!!!!!!
