Yesterday was my paternal grandmother's birthday and I wanted to share it with you, my dear friends of this wonderful community.
Yo amo los cumpleaños son mis momentos favoritos de todos los años pues yo lo veo desde la perspectiva del agradecimiento, celebrar que Dios te dió una oportunidad más de vida es simplemente grandioso.
I love birthdays are my favorite time of the year because I look at it from the perspective of gratitude, celebrating that God gave you one more chance at life is just great.
Como les comenté en las primeras líneas del texto en esta ocasión la cumpleañera es mi abuela se llama Elisa (como mi segundo nombre) y hoy amaneció con 81 años de edad,me parece tan emocionante llegar a esa edad,pues lo veo algo lejano ,es como un plus alguna vez escuché que llegar después de los 70 es un regalo extra que Dios te da.
As I mentioned in the first lines of this text, this time the birthday girl is my grandmother, her name is Elisa (like my middle name) and today she woke up 81 years old, it seems so exciting to me to reach that age, because I see it as something far away, it is like a plus I once heard that reaching after 70 is an extra gift that God gives you.
En la mañana a esos de las 10 am me levanté y le di mi regalo a mi abuela una taza con imágenes de nosotras y un caja de chocolate,mi papá también le dió un regalo muy lindo.
In the morning at about 10 am I got up and gave my gift to my grandmother a mug with pictures of us and a box of chocolate, my dad also gave her a very nice gift.
Mi prima que actualmente reside en otro país le mandó un rico desayuno pero antes le envío un mensaje felicitandola y diciéndole que no cocine que ella le va a mandar desayuno y así fue jajaja en menos de una hora llegó un chico con arepas de colores y un delicioso jugo.
My cousin who currently resides in another country sent her a delicious breakfast but before that I sent her a message congratulating her and telling her not to cook that she was going to send him breakfast and so it was hahaha in less than an hour a guy arrived with colorful arepas and a delicious juice.
Mientras transcurría la mañana mi tía beatriz buscó una cortina decorativa que tenía por allí guardada junto a unos globos de fiesta y empezó a realizar una mini decoración jajaja así como es ella llamativa y alegre.
While the morning was going on my aunt Beatriz looked for a decorative curtain that she had stored there along with some party balloons and began to make a mini decoration hahaha as she is flashy and cheerful.

A mí abuela le gusta mucho la comida china por eso mi tía le compro arroz chino y lumpia en su restaurante favorito llamado China Town queda por las Delicias en la ciudad de Maracay -Venezuela ,la comida allí es deliciosa pero no es mi favorita jajajaja yo si prefiero eternamente mi hamburguesa de pollo con salsa de ajo.
My grandmother likes Chinese food very much so my aunt bought her Chinese rice and lumpia in her favorite restaurant called China Town located in Las Delicias in the city of Maracay -Venezuela, the food there is delicious but it is not my favorite hahahaha I prefer my chicken burger with garlic sauce forever.
Comimos demasiado mi abuela estaba muy feliz por compartir con sus hijas,nieta y esposo sin embargo no invitó a más nadie al almuerzo ya que días atrás se enfermó con una gripe muy fuerte y todavía está padeciendo los malestares.
We ate too much, my grandmother was very happy to share with her daughters, granddaughter and husband, however she did not invite anyone else to the lunch since she got sick a few days ago with a very bad flu and is still suffering from the ailments.
En la noche picamos la torta de piña y el quesillo que preparó mi otra tía a ,estaba riquísimo 🤤 mientras estábamos cantando cumpleaños llamamos a mis primos que están afuera del país y mi abuela pues demasiado feliz de verlo aunque ellos lo llaman todos los días aunque sea diez minutos.
In the evening we ate the pineapple cake and the quesillo that my other aunt prepared, it was delicious 🤤 while we were singing birthday we called my cousins who are out of the country and my grandmother was too happy to see him even though they call him every day even if it's only for ten minutes.
Y así terminó el cumpleaños gracias por leerme nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad bye bye
