It has been proven time and time again that it is bound for challenges to come, in various sizes and weight if they could be measured. It is impossible to live life without having to go through hard times and challenges: that's just life. At times, life throws some at you based on what you are doing or where you are. For example, there are certain challenges only students will experience, same thing for 9_5er workers at a particular region, an entrepreneur, etc. Another mystery about life is that everyone gets to face their own per day per time, either you're leaving one or might soon get into one.
When it comes to who I run to when I have issues, my default person is God. Yeah, I have people who I can run to but God is my number one, I can be very quick to say prayers when I am faced with certain issues, I know where I came from, I know how much and how far my people can go and do for me, but God, He is limitless, no boundaries on His side. One of the reasons why I do so is because He's got the best option and solution for me, He loves me way more than any human can so why won't I run to him. I let him handle my life while I do my part and let him do His part.
I decide when I run to my family and friends when I have issues: I don't like being perceived as a leech or disturbance so I try to not always run to my people when I have an issue. My parents are sure plug when it comes to bills, I call home for money because I can only handle few of my bills in school for now. While I know that I can always call home, I put the necessary pressure on myself at times not to call home so I can push better on whatever brings in money for me. There are certain issues I don't bother to share with my parents because they won't understand me well like career, goals, ideas, I only share with them what I know they can help me with and same thung applies to my siblings. For issues that money can't solve, I run to certain my family too but most times friends based on the levels on which we connect more. I have friemds that we connect more in music, some in same career path while other in other career paths but kinda related, some are church friends. With this, I know which friend to talk to and share my problems with. For times when I don't have someone that help solve the issue, I'd rather just tell the problem with a friend and we both think of how I can get out of it.
I have to realize that having a person or place to run to is very important, it is crucial to your well-being. I can't imagine my life without God and gift of men. It is impossible to do life without having people who know, trust and care for you. Certain issues arise that the only place to run it to God, sometimes family, sometimes friends and other times you'd have to figure it out on your own.
