Hi vegan lovers, this recipe is a spicy dish with the aroma of orange leaves. As a lunchtime accompaniment, it was inspired by my best friend's recipe for sweet potato as a spicy dish to be enjoyed with rice. Much to my surprise, I rarely make sweet potatoes into dishes that are enjoyed with rice.
Usually sweet potatoes are dry fried or cooked in fried chili sauce and also as a sweet cake. But this time it was very different sweet potatoes into a special spicy dish.
No need to hesitate for how to cook it is quite simple, certainly easy to understand and processed anytime anywhere all of you can definitely do it.
Ingredients Used
1tempeh board
1 tomato
3 red chilies
6 lime leaves
1 tablespoon palm sugar powder
A pinch of pepper powder
3 cloves
shallots 1 clove garlic
How to Cook
Prepare tempeh cut tempeh cubes marinate briefly with salt.
Clean the sweet potatoes, then cut the sweet potatoes into cubes.
Prepare the chilies then cut the chilies obliquelyset up let all the ingredients be cut tomatoes and also lime leaves.
After all the ingredients are prepared, it's time to fry the sweet potatoes and tempeh until brownish yellow then set aside first.
While waiting for tempeh and sweet potatoes to be fried. Prepare the ground spices, blend until smooth, then fry in hot oil until the spices shrink.
Add chili pieces, tomatoes and lime leaves and cook until done.
Add salt and also powdered palm sugar in the sambal that is being cooked.
After shrinking, the sambal starts to cook then add the sweet potato and tempeh. Do not cook too dry let all the ingredients soak in the sambal.
The Result
Sweet potato chili lime leaves ready to be served let it in your best plate. The aroma of orange leaves is very tempting. It's great to taste sweet potato cooked spicy with the natural mani of sweet potato meat combined with spicy spices.
Sweet, savory, and spicy is a combination that I look forward to and most importantly the sweet potato is fried soft and also the tempeh so that the combination of spices is perfectly absorbed. The distinctive aroma of chili and lime leaves made me hungry and I had to enjoy it immediately. The taste is spectacular, as a spicy lover of course this is a delicious dish. Especially enjoyed with warm white rice sweet potatoes become very delicious.
