My learning English 7: Review and Continuation with the A level

Languages are something awesome because we can express our emotions, feelings, and thoughts, this expression will be more exact and understanding for the other according to our level. I believed that I understood this, but it wasn't, so when I learned about the European Reference for identifying our level I wanted to evaluate my knowledge, and as part of this process I have been sharing some important topics in our loved Hive. Not as a definite guide but as a personal reference and record, by the way.

Just now I am going to start to share my advance in the level A2. Firstly, a little description of this level: The previous level (A1) is about things more basic (the more frequent phrases and expressions) and elementals, like introducing oneself and others, etc. At this level, we'll go on making steps each time more interesting, as frequent phrases and expressions concerning specific areas: shopping, school, travel, etc. As well, in this level we continue introducing and improving grammatical aspects: like the past and future tense, modal verbs, order of adjectives and adverbs, etc.

We must separate between regular and irregular verbs because the regulars can be formed by adding -ed to the infinite verb. For example, to want ⇾ She wanted to do it. In the case of irregulars, the unique option is to practice them very much, For example, To eat → we ate very much. The "to be" verb is important as well here, so I am, for example, is become in I was.

    • What was your childhood like? It's a frequent expression for asking about our childhood. Pay attention that not is about what it was but an ask about the things we liked or enjoyed. It means that we can say as well What was your childhood dislike and elaborate a class of biography more personal or with more feeling.

What was my childhood from the things liked and disliked perspective?

What was my childhood like? When I was a child, my childhood was filled with the joy of playing sports. Baseball was my absolute favorite. I remember spending countless afternoons at the park. Weekends were usually spent with my mom and cousin, either exploring local parks or enjoying our shared love for green mangoes sprinkled with salt. Birthdays were always the best, filled with music, laughter, and wild dance moves with my close friends.

What was my childhood dislike? As a child, I disliked feeling excluded during games or activities, which sometimes happened with certain kids. There were times I felt uninspired and preferred to stay indoors. I also had aversions to specific foods, like soup, and understandably, the loss of a loved one was a difficult time for me.
