Aceh Flour Fried Noodles, or often referred to as Aceh Noodles, is a noodle dish that is rich in flavor and has a distinctive spicy taste, noodles are indeed made to be eaten by buyers and the following are common ingredients used to make Aceh Flour Fried Noodles:
- Main or first ingredients:
- Yellow noodles (egg noodles or instant noodles)
- Cooking oil (for sauteing)
- Water (enough to boil the noodles)
- Additional ingredients that people usually use:
- Meat (usually beef or chicken, can also be shrimp)
- Vegetables (such as cabbage, carrots, or mustard greens)
- Egg (usually one, can be fried or scrambled)
- Seasonings:
- Shallots (finely chopped)
- Garlic (finely chopped)
- Red chilies (finely chopped or according to taste)
- Sweet soy sauce. (for a sweet taste)
- Salty soy sauce (for a savory taste)
- Chili sauce (according to the eater's taste, for spicy)
- Spices (such as ginger, turmeric, or lemongrass, for the fragrant aroma of the noodles)
- Garnish:
- Spring onions (finely chopped)
- Emping (crackers for additional crunchiness)
- Lemon or lime (for squeezing when serving)
- How to Make:
- Boil the noodles until al dente, drain.
- Saute the shallots and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the meat and vegetables, cook until done.
- Add the spices, soy sauce, and noodles, stir well.
- Add the eggs and stir again.
- Serve with garnish on top.
