It has been a very long week, and I had some funny experiences while trying to list new businesses and onboard new users, well, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Onboarding new users is important and mentorship is also very important because if they are not properly mentored they might end up doing something that the platform forbids, yes they all came because of the #distriator project, they all came to shop and get some cashback which is very ok but they still need to add more value with their activities on hive, mentorship requires time.
Based on that, we agreed on a date and venue convenient for everyone, in my last report, I mentioned that the meetup is going to be held on a listed business, @devilahutbar.
It was time, and everyone came around, they asked so many questions, and I took the time to explain everything to them.
I helped them understand the importance of supporting a community through delegations and engagement, I also explained to them the payout process of content on Hive and taught them how to accumulate HP and how they can use it to support other content creators on the platform.
This and many more we discussed during the meetup: we can meet without spending hbd, so we ordered some drinks and goat meat from @devilahutbar. We also did our transactions, and everyone got their cash back.
Answering all their questions took a long time. Finally, we discussed the importance of savings and how to save on the hive and its benefits, it was too late, and everyone left for their home.
My goals.
However, it has been difficult to get new businesses to come up on distractor because not everyone understands, and also, the situation of our country makes it more complicated, but at the same time, people who understand do not waste time accepting the project.
While I can't sit back and conclude what every business owner will say, I will have to be out there as always in search of businesses, my next goal is to visit some big market with the spendhbd proposal and see the response, I know some might be negative while a few might find it interesting.
Printing more fliers with a signup link is also another goal of mine because, in some places where I can't speak with customers, my flyers are always useful in such areas.
In all, spreading the news about this project is a goal, getting more businesses and more users is also a target.
