We humans are really complex beings. For one problem that exists, there are like 10 different solutions. And you can't be sure which one works at any given time until you've mustered the strength for different trials.

For the moments when you're feeling down, the list of possible solutions could be:
Getting a credit alert,
Talking to someone,
Praying
Taking a walk,
Listening to music,
Impulse spending
Hanging out with friends or random people,
Sleeping it off,
Watching a comfort TV show,
Blowing it off at the gym.
The list could go on and on. And the interesting part is that what worked the last time might not work this time, and what worked for A might not work for B. You just have to figure it out on your own eventually; that's it. You could decide that you want to talk to someone, and it's in the process of doing so that you realise that what you actually need is to take some time off certain things to be you again.
I don't know about you, but this falls within the brackets of complexity for me..
On days when I don't feel so good, I instantly gravitate towards familiar things. That always works. stay on familiar ground. I couldn't risk reading a book I may not enjoy, listening to sone song that I didn't quite like. So, i listen to the songs i like, rewatch old videos that i enjoyed, go thrpugh self-made videos in my gallery, most of which ard hilarious and thats mostly what it takes. Catching an image of me in the mirror, too. I always stop and want to adjust something when there's nothing to, just so I'd admire myself and say under my breath, "dayuum, girl!"

For the bad days when I'm not up for any of the above mentioned, i just lay down and let my mind wander. I mean, i daydream. It's all a brautiful wotld in my head so smiling, even giggling takes only a few minutes.
Finally, it does help that I bear inimd and do not forget to say to myself that, "this would be over in a minute." Somehow, that thought helps too.
Apparently, it's the little, everyday things that put the smile quickest on my face. They are little things but I think of them as dynamic.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
