My Guardian Exploring Destiny 2 Worlds

    Hello readers of this community!
Here is my next post of Destiny 2 screenshots taken during this season and some of the previous recent ones.
I hope I can go and take more creative shots in the future and I am also looking forward to sharing my older ones.
For this post I just wanted to say that I selected them carefully to be of better quality and art so they are more fun for readers to look at.
I find Destiny to be an artistically beautiful franchise and the worlds are just a blast to run around in.
Taking screenshots of amazing locations feel intuitive to me and sharing them with the public is something I enjoy.
Since I started taking these shots like photos I was interested in integrating them into my content or releasing them directly.
It is really like photography to me and sharing that beauty and potential inspiration for artists and everyone else is something I enjoy a lot.
I am grateful that there are some virtual works that genuinely are inspiring and not just fun to play in.
So here are my shots for today, there is more to come.

Regarding the background of how these shots where taken there are a few interesting elements to know.
Many of my screenshots were taken without deactivating the head up display in in the game so the way I did get some moments captured without the hud or only parts of it was by switching to the menu by pressing the according key and during the time until the user interface returns when going back into the game I pressed the screenshot hotkey.
This is a weird method but sometimes I had to improvise to get some of my shots.
This also led to some screenshots where parts of the hud were visible which created a more unique look compared to my cleaner shots where only the world is seen.

Further I also want to mention that I compressed a bunch of my screenshots using a batch image manipulation plugin in Gimp to get smaller file size.
I did that in interest of upload speed and storage requirements on my drive.
Even though I do try to post only the best screenshots to my favourite Hive community I still have so many remaining that it makes lots of sense to minimize the storage requirement.

As I stated in my first post here I will also share screenshots from before the release of Beyond Light in Destiny 2. I had planned that and after some nice feedback I put that higher on my priority list so if everything goes as planned I will, relatively soon, start posting art from my folders from where I originally started taking screenshots.
I am looking forward to sharing the art from older Destiny 2 seasons to remember the old worlds like Mercury and Mars and their amazing lighting and overall design.

That was it for the written part and in the end I wanted to mention that I certainly can get used to writing here.
There are some stories to tell about when I made my older screenshots.
I hope you could enjoy looking at them as much as it was fun taking them.
Maybe this art inspires someone to make more beautiful games hence there are never enough of them out there.

    Cheers,
    ATMODEPTH
