    Hello everyone

Greetings to you all from this part of the world, I hope you are doing great just as I am doing here, it's nice to be here today to share with you this simple project I made for myself,it's a warm indoor socks I made specifically for the season, for this project, I made use of two different pieces of left over fabric since one of it won't be enough, I had to combine two stretchy fabrics of same color together and it was so nice.

It's has been raining heavily for some days now and I'm someone who easily catch cold, even when I'm inside the house, I still have to wear my cardigan, head warmer and socks just to keep me warm but unfortunately, the socks I usually wear got torn and I can no longer wear it, though it's the the very light type of socks but since I don't have another, I have been making use of it like that not until I can no longer wear it again, that was when I actually thought of trying out the cutting and sewing process since I will be the one to use it, it does really matter how the outcome is for a first trial, fortunately for me, it was so perfect for me.

Let me take you through the cutting and sewing process

I used foam and velvet fabric for this project, the two fabrics were combined to make each socks

I placed my slippers on one of the fabric on fold and traced out the shape with some allowance by the side.

The same was placed on the other fabric and I can out same shape, I cut out 4 pieces 2 from each fabric.

From the mid point of both sides, I sew in a simple dart of ½" on both sides

I took one piece from each fabric and placed it right side to right side.

It was sewn together leaving an opening at the down part where it can be turned inside out.

The I turned it inside out to try it out but it wasn't my size, so I went ahead to adjust it, I turned it to the wrong side and make the curve dipper than the initial one.

Then I turned it inside out and put one into the other and top stitched on the opening where it was turned inside out. The same was repeated on the other socks as well and both are ready.

This is my beautiful warm indoor socks I made and it was so good, it actually serves the purpose for which it was made, now I no longer catch cold with this my socks on, it keeps me so warm.

I hope you like how simple and useful this is, you can try it out as well if you are someone like me who don't really like cold 😃😃😃
