    CANE GUARAPO

    Greetings

    My appreciated creators of Incredible Drinks, I am very happy about this drink that I am going to present to you because I was very pleased to carry out the process for its preparation with some excellent friends and before showing you the process I would like to tell you a little about this popular refreshing drink. In Venezuela, the cane guarapo has been known since the times of Colonization, there were cane fields or cane plantations mainly in Aragua, Lara, Yaracuy and eastern regions.

    There were guaraperias where various types of cane juice were produced, crushed and mechanically squeezed. It was also sold in guarapero establishments and carts on the streets and avenues of the cities. The grandparents comment that if it was consumed on the same day it was called Guarapo Fresh, if it was left until the next day it was between strong and sweet and after three days it began to ferment, so it was called Guarapo Fuerte, it was also customary to say the expression **"Between strong and sweet like guarapo"** when asked how they are.

    A few weeks ago I was with some friends and we came across some cane plants, so I suggested preparing this drink and they gladly accepted since we had all spent a long time without drinking this traditional drink, currently it is difficult to find it anywhere. commercial or prepared at home, we spent a wonderful afternoon cutting the canes, locating the mill that luckily we got from a neighbor and preparing the juice, here I show you the process

    Then with the mill we began to crush and squeeze the canes from which the precious liquid was obtained.

    We pass the liquid through a strainer and serve with enough ice.

    Mis apreciados creadores de Bebidas Increibles, estoy muy contenta por esta bebida que les voy a presentar porque me agrado mucho realizar el proceso para su elaboración junto a unos execelentes amigos y antes de mostrarles el proceso quisiera comentarles un poco acerca de esta popular bebida refrescante.En Venezuela se conoce el guarapo de Caña desde los tiempos de la Colonizacion,existian los cañaverales o siembras de caña principalmente en Aragua,Lara,Yaracuy y regiones de oriente.

    Existian las guaraperias donde se elaboraban varias modalidades del zumo de la caña, triturada exprimida mecanicamente, tambien se vendia en establecimientos y carros guaraperos por las calles y avenidas de las ciudades. Comentan los abuelos que si se consumia el mismo dia se le llamaba Guarapo Fresco, si se dejaba para el dia siguiente estaba entre fuerte y dulce y pasado los tres dias comenzaba a fermetar entonces se le decia Guarapo Fuerte, tambien se acostumbraba a decir la expresion **"Entre fuerte y dulce como el guarapo"** cuando se les preguntaba como estan.

    Hace algunas semanas me encontraba con unos amigos y nos topamos con unas plantas de caña, asi que les propuse preparar esta bebida y aceptaron con mucho gusto ya que todos habiamos pasado mucho tiempo sin tomar este bebida tradicional, actualmente es dificil que se consigan en algun comercio o que se prepare en las casas, pasamos una maravillosa tarde cortando las cañas, ubicando el trapiche que por suerte la conseguimos con un vecino y preparando el jugo, aqui les muestro el proceso.

    Realizamos la Seleccion, Corte y Limpieza de la Caña

    Luego con el trapiche comenzamos a triturar y exprimir las cañas de la cual se obtenia el preciado liquido

    Pasamos el liquido por un colador y servimos con suficiente hielo.
