Hi, I'm Paul, an aspiring graphic designer/illustrator.
This week has been quite stressful for my studies and family. This is the final week where I will finished my on-the-job training and will focused more on my studies and for the upcoming last semester of my university life.
One of my family members have encountered an unexpected injury, and with the help of your support, I contributed it to help with her medication until she recover.
All things ends well with few mild struggles at hand but eventually there are solutions given if you look on the bright side.
MY ART REFERENCE
For this week's art contest, I decided to create a fan illustration of Pirate of Eight. A rare water unit from the Rebellion Series. Based on its lore, the Pirate of Eight belongs to one of the well known crew of pirates led by Captain Corin Drace. They are people who commits crimes like raiding various merchant and trading ships wherever they want to port that causes fear to wandering people and locals.

MY ART PROCESS
I created a simple sketch of what I visualized the character. I decided to do a torso version of the Pirate of Eight. I visualize of a Pirate of Eight that is located near tropical areas.
Started my my rough sketch of the idea in my mind. I decided to make the line art for the illustration. After finalizing the line art, I decided to start my coloring process of the illustration. Some parts of the colors used were based on the color palette of the unit.
