Quenching your thirst with fruit juice after travelling from one tourist spot to another is indeed the right thing to do. Like some time ago when I was touring Taman Sari, on my way out, I saw a fruit juice vendor that caught my attention.

Of course, this is not a famous juice stall or a trendy juice. It's just a simple fresh juice stand and the only one in the area. Being so thirsty, I finally ordered the one juice I wanted. I was a bit confused at first because there are several types to choose from, such as: pineapple, melon, watermelon, dragon fruit, banana, guava, strawberry mango, orange, lemon, sunkist, apple, pear, and more. In addition to selling fruit for juicing, here also sells a variety of other fruits that are ready for consumption.

Okay, after careful consideration, I chose pomegranate.

At first, I recalled my trip to Turkey a few years ago and remembered how fresh the pomegranate juice was there. After waiting for about a minute, my order was finally placed. I forgot that the pomegranate I ordered was the local type. So, instead of being blushing red with incomparable freshness, the local pomegranate is more pale red in colour and not very fresh. So the rada I ordered was predominantly sweet. Maybe I forgot to say that ‘please make it without sugar’.

However, I don't regret it, whatever it was, one glass of pomegranate juice was in my hand. And I enjoyed it with joy. Just like my heart was full today from travelling around Yogyakarta.

As I continued my journey outwards, I came across a pomegranate that was still on the tree. It belonged to someone nearby, so I took a picture to show you guys. This is a photo of the local pomegranate I'm talking about, it might be small, but it's a different type of pomegranate from what Turkey has.

After that, I finally finished my juice and headed out the door. After this, I will head to Prambanan temple, which is located 25 kilometres from here. It's still a long journey, so let's strengthen our legs, hearts and minds. Thank you for reading my writing.
